Welcome and thank you for checking out the new Student Council webpage!  This is the place to stay up to date with all of the latest Student Council news for the upcoming school year.  We will constantly be adding new information so make sure to check in often!

Since our election, we have been working tirelessly to ensure that we are able to fulfill the promises we made to you.  We can assure you that several plans are already underway!  You have chosen a fantastic group of students to be your representatives.  If you ever have any ideas for Student Council, we would love to hear them.  We are always open to suggestions and hope that this webpage will serve as a liaison between the Student Council and the student body.  Have a relaxing summer and I look forward to seeing you next school year!

UPCOMING EVENTS
     
Club Meet and Greet 
A new event for this school year, the Club Meet and Greet will be very similar to a mini college fair.  It will be a one-day event over lunch on Monday, September 8 and will serve as an opportunity for senior high clubs to promote their group and encourage new members to join.  

Adopt-an-Artist Program
Over thirty art students signed up to participate in our “Adopt-an-Artist” Program.  These students will supply teachers with their artwork to make our classrooms a brighter and more colorful place to learn.  Click here to find out which classroom you will be decorating next year.  If you have the time this summer, try to complete some works of art so that you will already have work to hang up when you return to school.   

New Student Council Bulletin Board
In order to make this bulletin board a success, we need your input!  Tell us about your favorite book or movie so we can post it as a student recommendation.  Also, if you are in a band, tell us about upcoming concerts so we can let the rest of the student body know to come.

Back-to-School Bake Sale
Make sure to bring in extra change on September 18 for the Student Council Bake Sale.  We will have a delicious array of baked goods!         

Homecoming Pep Rally
Student Council will kick off the excitement of Homecoming weekend with a Pep Rally on October 3.

5K Race
Mark your calendar for November 8 to compete in our annual race.  More details will be provided closer to the event.
