National Honor Society
Membership in the National Honor Society is based upon scholarship, leadership, character and service. Membership carries with it more than an honor; it should be considered the beginning of an obligation.
Criteria for Membership:
Juniors who have a 90% GPA in all major subjects, including Religion for grades 9 and 10 as of June 2009 and seniors who have a 90% GPA in all major subjects including Religion for grades 9, 10, 11 as of June, 2009 are eligible for membership.
In order to be considered eligible, the student must meet the scholastic requirements listed above, must have completed both freshman and sophomore years, must have been in York Catholic High School for no less than one full semester, and must have a satisfactory conduct record.
