Volleyball
Tryout Schedule
Volleyball tryouts start August 15. The sessions will be 6:00-8:00 PM and will run for at least Monday and Tuesday, and maybe through Wednesday. Here are some important policies that you need to note. All will be strictly enforced:
- All tryout sessions are mandatory. If you are not present, you will not make the team.
- You must turn in all physical paperwork and complete your ImPACT test (if necessary) by August 12. Mr. Luckman must have all of your completed forms before you will be allowed to participate. If you wait and bring the forms on the first day of tryouts, you will not be allowed to participate until he has processed the paperwork. If you are unsure if you have an ImPACT Test on file, go to the Athletics page of the website and scroll to the bottom where the ImPACT information is located. Click the link to take you to the document that shows tests on file.
- No jewelry is allowed. This applies even if you recently got a new piercing. All jewelry must be removed before you may participate.
- No tight fitting or revealing clothing is allowed. This includes Spandex shorts and tank tops with low arm holes. Your undergarments must not be visible.
Practice Schedule
Practices will start either Wednesday August 17th or Thursday August 18th depending on how many trout sessions we need. Practices will be Monday through Friday. Varsity practices will be 4:30-6:30 PM. JV practices will be 6:00-8:00 PM. If you make the team, you will be expected to attend and be on time for all practices.
